В Донецке ликвидировали сеть майнинговых ферм
В городе Донецке российские силовики ликвидировали сеть из трех майнинговых ферм. Энергетики оценили нанесенный этими фермами ущерб в 14 млн рублей, сообщили представители МВД.
Майнинг организовал местный житель, разместивший 25 единиц оборудования в домах частного сектора и нескольких многоэтажках, а затем три года добывал криптовалюту, рассказывают силовики. Оборудование для добычи цифровых активов было подключено к городским сетям в обход приборов учета и «похищало электроэнергию в промышленных масштабах», уверяет полиция.
Ежегодная прибыль майнера оценивается в почти 13 млн рублей. В отношении создателя ферм возбуждено уголовное дело по части 2 статьи 165 УК РФ («причинение имущественного ущерба собственнику или иному владельцу имущества путем, совершенное в особо крупном размере»). Подозреваемому грозит наказание в виде лишения свободы на срок до пяти лет с выплатой штрафа. Донецк входит в список территорий России, где майнинг полностью запрещен.
Недавно компания «Россети Северный Кавказ» заявила, что в частных домах села Леваши Левашинского района Дагестана были обнаружены две незаконные майнинговые фермы.
