Под Петербургом закрыли нелегальную майнинговую ферму
Недалеко от Санкт-Петербурга российские силовики ликвидировали ферму для майнинга, нелегально подключенную к электросетям. В МВД утверждают, что ферма успела потребить 80 млн кВт·ч электроэнергии на сумму более 1 млрд рублей.
Ферма располагалась в нескольких десятках контейнеров на железнодорожных станциях Громово и Луговая Приозерского района Ленинградской области. Оборудование для добычи криптовалюты было изъято, сообщила представитель МВД Ирина Волк..
Согласно версии следствия, несколько должностных лиц местного офиса неназванной транспортной компании договорились с группой майнеров, предоставив разрешения установить оборудование на площадках тяговых подстанций железной дороги.
При обысках полицейские задержали шестерых подозреваемых, изъяли у них компьютеры, банковские карты и деньги на сумму 7 млн рублей.
В отношении подозреваемых возбуждены уголовные дела о превышении должностных полномочий группой лиц по предварительному сговору (часть 3 статьи 286 УК РФ). Два фигуранта помещены под стражу, остальные находятся под подпиской о невыезде.
Ранее МВД России сообщило, что в Петербурге прекращена работа нелегальной майнинговой фермы, располагавшейся в ангаре на Митрофаньевском шоссе в промышленной зоне Московского района.
